Visa service
Entry into the country is regulated by the visa regime in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Depending on the country of origin, foreigners have different privileges and restrictions for obtaining a visa.
Depending on their nationality, tourists have one of the following four cases:
Visa-free entry
Citizens of the following nine countries are eligible for visa-free entry to the territory of Azerbaijan for up to 90 days:
- Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan
Visa upon arrival
Citizens or residents of the following 13 countries have simplified and accelerated the Azerbaijan visa obtaining process; they receive a 30-day visa upon arrival at the airports of Azerbaijan:
- Bahrain, China, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Singapore, Turkey, UAE
E-visa
MFA Azerbaijan has launched an e-visa system for the citizens of the following 80 countries. Azerbaijan e-visa processing takes up to 3 days; the system accepts VISA and MasterCard for payment and the state duty is $ 20.
Visa at the Embassy
If your country is not in any of the lists provided above, then you need to apply for an Azerbaijan visa at the Embassy in your country. If there is no Embassy of Azerbaijan in your country, then contact embassies in neighboring countries. Apart from that, there are different types of Azerbaijan visas: tourist, transit, student, humanitarian, business, and guest visa.
