Nabran

Nabran is a popular resort and recreation center located on the coast of the Caspian Sea. It is one of the largest maritime resorts in the country. 

In the background, the forests are connected with the Shahdag Mountain of the Great Caucasus mountain range. Nabran area is rich in pure drinking water which runs from Shahdag mountain. 

In the early 1900s, at the initiative of millionaire Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev, a project to bring clean drinking water from this area to Baku was started. The project was completed in 1917. The holiday area is surrounded by beautiful relic forests, which is considered to be one of the main attractions of this area.

One of the main advantages of this resort is not only natural and geographical conditions but also rich in hydrogen sulfide underground sources, which are effective for many diseases. In the Nabran forests, you can find a nut and very old oak trees,  various animals and birds - wild boar, deer, rabbit, owl, and other interesting species of the fauna.

The resort has all the facilities for your leisure time and tourists come here from all over the world. Nabran has all sorts of facilities for people of all ages. There are children's entertainment centers, numerous discos for young people, as well as comfortable and quiet places for the older generation.

Additionally, there are a water park and sports complex near the village, and the temperate climate of the Caspian Sea makes this place one of the most visited places of Azerbaijan.
