Dashkasan DESTINATION
The Dashkasan region is at the center of attention with its natural beauty, fresh air, rich fauna, green forest that stretches along Murovdag, as well as ancient historical monuments. Of the 73 architectural and archeological monuments located in the district, 46 are protected by the state. Of great importance among these monuments are the Albanian monuments of the IV-V centuries AD.

In the northeast of the Lesser Caucasus, at an altitude of 1600-1800 meters above sea level, the natural lakes Khoshbulag and Goygol attract attention. The villages have great tourism potential. There are two beautiful lakes in the villages of Zivlan and Astaf.
Gudur spring in Tapan village, Turshsu area in Alakhanchalli village, Ag bulag in Garagullar village, Duz yal in Zeylik village, miraculous railway bridges and crossings in Bayan village, Chilchiravand temple, Monastery, the arched bridge over Gushgara river, Dikdash fortress in Gurbulag village, Erkinaz fortress, World-famous mounds, and stone cemeteries in the village of Zaghali, Albanian temple in Zeylik village, stone cemeteries, the tomb in Ahmadli village, Chalagan fortress in Dardara village, ancient bridge over Ganja river in Dastafur village, Albanian temple covering 700 m² area, etc. Historical and natural monuments are still met with respect and admiration in the areas of the region.
"Khoshbulag plateau" is famous for the "Dashtapa" fortress, "Shepherd's stone", "Molla Abdulla spring" fortress belonging to the Bronze Age, and "Nagara mountain" belonging to the Iron Age.
Surrounded by forests Amirvar village "Yasti rock", "Lezgi rock", "Black cow" cave, "Yal yurdu" fortress, "Goychaliler yurdu" fortress, "Dardar" fortress are famous in the region.
The Ayrichay, which flows through the village of Amirvan, creates beautiful nature paintings in the depths of the nearby forest. In the narrow gorge, where the Ayrichay River flows through the rocks, a charming mountain waterfall comes to life. The villagers call this waterfall Shirshir. Drops of water falling to the rocks together with the bright rays of the sun create an eye-catching, beautiful landscape. Amirvar is one of the remote villages of Dashkasan, which rests in the high mountains.
The Albanian temple, a historical monument of national importance, with an area of 800 square meters in the Qabaqtapa zone, and the Gelingaya natural monument located 5 km from the village of Qabaqtapa are famous sites for visiting. The Shamkir River 12 km from Qabaqtapa is famous for its fresh air and pure water and always delights.
The world-famous Qabaqtapa grey bee breed is connected with the name of this land, this region. This is leaning on the mountains and surrounded by the forests on the west side. There are many ancient bridges, settlements, and historical and natural monuments in the territory of the district center and Qabaqtapa village.
